In just a few weeks, I will be attending a large conference featuring some great and powerful people from around the world. Just thinking about what I will experience and who I will meet gets me both excited and nervous. So, as part of my preparation, I decided to go shopping for some confidence.
Of course I cannot directly purchase confidence but I do believe there are ways to boost it by tangible means. My way this time was to buy a new suit. Not just any suit either. I was looking for THE suit. One that fits perfect, moves with ease, and has confidence sewn right into the lining. And the good news is…I found it!
I know this sounds a little materialistic minded and I also realize that confidence comes from within and believing in yourself. However, being one that has risen from low confidence to one that can stand shoulder to shoulder with great men and women now, I do know there is such a thing as investing in tangible goods that produce confidence.
Sometimes we just need a little help. Something extra that makes us feel better about ourselves and makes us “shine.” This can be accomplished by acquiring something different, something new, and something that brings a bit of joy into our spirit.
I want to say that you do have to be careful that these do not become a crutch. They can actually be addicting and cause one to become dependent upon them. So always use with great caution.
However, if you have an engagement or meeting that has possible increases and growth opportunities riding on them, then invest in yourself.
Always be responsible with your finances. If money is an issue, then do not spend what you do not have. The object here is to supply a quick way of making you feel better which will be received by those you connect with.

You Are A Masterpiece
I want you to know and fully believe that you are fearfully and wonderfully made. You are perfect and a masterpiece with a wealth of ability and great purpose. Your life matters and I encourage you to spend time working on your inward perception.
Purchasing “things” is only good to boost your short term confidence. Continue to grow your inner worth so that you have full joy and pure confidence in who you are.
Be great today.
Be joyful always.
And if you need to…go buy a suit.
