To build financial freedom, you must build a money mindset that is prepared for it to happen. This starts by looking at money from a different perspective. For some of you it is a slight change while some of you other people, it may be more of a radical change. And if it is, then do it.
Today, I thought I would shift over and talk a little about sales. Many of you are either in sales directly or starting a business so the topic of selling is big. I have found that really it doesn’t matter what you do in life, you actually are always in sales. You either have a product, a service, or you are selling yourself. And some have all 3 like me!
Self leadership sets the direction and pace to which you advance in your endeavors. It is this leadership that makes you the entrepreneur that succeeds or fails. How well you lead yourself will determine if you end up being a success or a statistic.
As an entrepreneur, you are the driver of the vehicle. However, it is the engine that makes it move. If you have any breakdowns in the engine, then you’re stuck. Your company’s performance simply relies on the output of its team.
You’ve heard that it’s more about who you know than what you know. That my friends is simple truth. And to take it a step further, it’s who you know that is willing to help you. And that will require some real influence. What I mean is that to make things happen you need to influence others. And not to get confused with persuade. You can’t build a highly successful life without other people involved. We are community driven society even in this highly digital age. And until you embrace that, you will struggle.
Habits perform basic parts of our daily lives. Our minds are able to put those actions on autopilot so we can concentrate on other things. Think about how hard it would be to think about everything we did every second of the day. It would be ridiculous, right?! We’d never get anything accomplished!!
On today’s podcast I want to continue talking about success. Last time we discussed the 5 hurdles you must overcome on the journey towards success. Today, we’re going to zoom in and talk about what it means to be Intentional with your Success.
Intentional Success requires many things. One is quality time. You should start and end every day spending some quality time focusing on capturing success. That means spend some quality time in the morning and evening thinking about what you need to do and what you have done as it pertains to your success journey. This is important because as I’ve said before, success doesn’t just happen.
What I love about success, the beauty of success, is that it’s as unique to each individual as a fingerprint. What success means to me could be slightly different or completely different than what it means to you. We each get to create and own our unique measure of success.
